My Bachelors in Sociology/Anthropology was based on a love for Zora Neale Hurston, an author and Folklorist I admire for the authenticity of her characters. My research explores the multifaceted identities of Black and Muslim Cultures in America and contemplates the terms for equity in the US and the South.

A Human-Centered Design project that aims to provide resources to financial literacy, best practices, and business partnerships through trusted community allies for seniors before, during, and after retirement age in order help prevent and decrease financial exploitation; and enable seniors to maintain their autonomy and financial independence while aging in place.
